Job Summary

Take the lead in managing and executing critical national road infrastructure projects in Switzerland, covering everything from initial design through to final delivery, rehabilitation, and maintenance. This senior role requires establishing and implementing professional project and partner management strategies, ensuring all construction and design work adheres strictly to quality standards, timelines, and budgets. You will oversee external design offices, site management teams, and mandated contractors, while also organizing legal procurement procedures for services and construction work. Successful candidates must possess a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Civil or Electro-Mechanical Engineering and substantial experience in infrastructure project management, coupled with strong leadership, negotiation, and coordination abilities to handle large-scale projects with political complexity.

Required Skills

Education

Master's (EPF) or Bachelor's (HES) Degree in Civil or Electro-Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent construction generalist training

Experience

  • Several years of experience in project management acting on behalf of clients or principals
  • Extensive experience in infrastructure construction
  • Proven ability to direct and supervise design offices, site management, and contractors
  • Experience managing large-scale projects with political and strategic implications
