Job Summary

This role involves serving as the IT Administrator for schools within the Märkisch-Oderland district administration, focusing on ensuring the operational readiness and security of all IT systems. Key responsibilities include developing and updating IT concepts for hardware, operating systems, and security protocols, as well as preparing for and guiding transitions to new information technologies. The administrator will manage the selection, procurement, and maintenance of system hardware, software, networking, and communication systems (including VoIP). A crucial aspect of the job is providing user support, training, and consultation on various IT applications and technologies. The ideal candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Information or Communication Technology or an equivalent qualification, coupled with strong expertise in networking, various operating systems (Linux, Windows, macOS, iOS), and school IT management solutions, including Mobile Device Management.
