Job Summary

This crucial Senior Project Manager role, acting as a QC Coordinator, is essential for the manufacturing of cellular and gene therapy products used in clinical trials at BioNTech IMFS. The position involves managing the complete process of product characterization and release testing within Quality Control (QC). Day-to-day responsibilities include creating planning forecasts and capacity estimations for QC analytics, ensuring optimal alignment between testing demands and lab capabilities by closely collaborating with Production and Supply Chain. The manager will represent QC in global planning processes, conceptualize and coordinate efficiency optimization projects, and lead expert teams in a matrix structure. Key qualifications include a bioscientific degree (ideally PhD), experience in project management and matrix leadership, and familiarity with GMP regulations and pharmaceutical product development. This role requires strong analytical thinking and persuasive communication skills to manage diverse stakeholders and drive continuous improvement.
