The specialist will be responsible for capturing and updating geodata from various sources, particularly OpenStreetMap, and ensuring the georeferencing of maps and plans. Key daily tasks include contributing to GIS projects, expanding the city's Geoportal, providing geoservices, and creating thematic maps and geoproducts based on foundational and specialized geodata. The ideal candidate must hold a degree in Geoinformatics or Surveying and possess practical experience with GIS tools like ArcGIS and QGIS, as well as spatial databases (PostgreSQL/PostGIS) and SQL. Required Skills

Education

University Degree (FH Diploma/Bachelor) in Geoinformatics or Surveying, or equivalent qualification for the first entry level of career group 2 in the surveying technical administrative service.

Experience

  • Professional experience with ArcGIS, QGIS, and an OSM editor
  • Experience in handling spatial databases (e.g., PostgreSQL/PostGIS) and SQL
  • Basic knowledge in web and GIS development (ideally with JavaScript, OpenLayers, Python, HTML)
  • Experience with Open-Source GIS components (e.g., MapServer, MapProxy)
