This role involves specialized work within the Geoinformation and Cadastre Office of the City of Bielefeld, focusing on the acquisition, maintenance, and management of geodata. The specialist will be responsible for capturing and updating geodata from various sources, particularly OpenStreetMap, and ensuring the georeferencing of maps and plans. Key daily tasks include contributing to GIS projects, expanding the city's Geoportal, providing geoservices, and creating thematic maps and geoproducts based on foundational and specialized geodata. The ideal candidate must hold a degree in Geoinformatics or Surveying and possess practical experience with GIS tools like ArcGIS and QGIS, as well as spatial databases (PostgreSQL/PostGIS) and SQL.
