Job Summary

This full-time, permanent position seeks a Metrology Technician to specialize in calibration services within a DAkkS-accredited calibration laboratory, focusing on force measuring devices and material testing machines. The successful candidate will undergo multi-stage training with the goal of eventually assuming the role of Deputy Laboratory Manager. Day-to-day responsibilities include the independent planning, execution, and quality assurance of calibration orders, managing customer interactions from quotation to billing, and performing connection measurements on force reference standards to ensure measurement traceability. The role requires strong organizational skills, service orientation, and the ability to work both in the office and in the field, involving the manual handling of testing equipment. Candidates should possess a technical qualification (e.g., Certified Technician or Master Craftsman) in a relevant engineering discipline.
