Job Summary

This role involves overseeing Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) activities, ensuring full compliance with Austrian and EU legislation. The successful candidate will develop and implement global and local safety procedures to maintain a safe and compliant workplace, manage KPIs, and generate global reports on HSE performance. Key responsibilities also include managing the characterization, disposal, and traceability of plant waste, overseeing unit waste management, and managing fire protection in accordance with Austrian law. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, advanced English and German language skills, and expertise in regulatory standards, operational risk management, and occupational medical management. Experience in the chemical industry and relevant safety certifications are highly valued.
