Job Summary

This role involves taking a key position in developing and optimizing the Energy Portfolio Management function within a leading European renewable energy producer. The manager will primarily focus on driving the power hedging strategy, managing market exposure across all core European markets, and setting up optimized position management for the next five years. Day-to-day tasks include structuring exposure management with Originators, quantitatively evaluating various hedging scenarios using different instruments, and optimizing execution timing based on market situations. The ideal candidate must possess a degree in a quantitative or economic field and at least three years of professional experience in energy trading or risk management. Success requires strong analytical skills, expertise in statistical analysis, and the ability to communicate complex quantitative concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders in an international environment, helping to shape the future of the energy transition.
