Job Summary

This role is for a Technical Assistant specializing in advanced analytical techniques within a high-throughput medical laboratory. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing and documenting routine quantitative and qualitative HPLC-MS/MS analyses, focusing on metabolites, drugs, and medications in human samples, including newborn screening. Additionally, the role involves routine HPLC analyses for metabolites and vitamins, and various analyses using ICP-MS, Flame Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy, and Graphite Furnace Atomic Absorption Spectrometry. Key responsibilities also include creating and maintaining QM documents, managing analytical equipment like HPLC-MS/MS systems and pipetting robots, including their qualification and calibration, and supporting the development of new methods and process improvements to enhance quality and efficiency.
