Job Summary

This role is ideal for a Chemistry student seeking practical experience in environmental services and hazardous material management. As a Working Student specializing in Hazardous Waste Disposal, you will support both municipal and commercial collection efforts. Following thorough training, your core responsibilities will include independently identifying and sorting various hazardous substances, such as chemicals, paints, and solvents. A crucial component of the job involves learning the professional and legally compliant packaging of special waste. Candidates must be in at least their third semester of a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field, and ideally possess prior vocational training in a chemical discipline (e.g., Chemical Laboratory Assistant). This position offers essential legal training (TRGS 520) and valuable insights into the global waste disposal industry, all within a motivated and collegial team environment.
