Job Summary

This full-time, fixed-term position (until March 31, 2026) within the IT department of the Lörrach District Hospitals involves acting as the primary point of contact for end-users facing hardware and software issues, providing essential 1st-Level Support. Key daily responsibilities include independently handling user inquiries, assisting with the installation, configuration, testing, rollout, and commissioning of IT hardware and software, and providing user instruction on new systems. The specialist will also be responsible for installing software packages, maintaining the internal IT asset database, and managing the preparation, installation, handover, and maintenance of IT assets. Candidates should possess a completed IT education or equivalent qualification, relevant professional experience in IT Service Desk environments, and strong proficiency with Windows and Office versions, coupled with high self-motivation and a solution-oriented approach.
