Job Summary

This role involves the independent execution of chemical digestions of precious metal-containing recycling materials within a producing chemical company in Hanau. The Chemical Laboratory Technician will be responsible for preparing samples and measurement solutions for ICP-OES analysis, as well as preparing buffer solutions. A key part of the job is monitoring testing equipment as part of quality assurance and handling general laboratory tasks, including the acceptance of consumables. The successful candidate must ensure compliance with LEAN and 5S principles in the lab and actively contribute to continuous process improvement. Qualifications include a completed apprenticeship as a Chemical Laboratory Technician or equivalent professional experience, particularly in an industrial analytical environment dealing with precious metals. Proficiency in handling laboratory equipment, concentrated acids, and LIMS is required, alongside very good German language skills.
