Job Summary

This position calls for a dedicated Wildlife Conservation Assessor and Biologist to join the team in Lindau or Ulm, working either full-time or part-time (minimum 32 hours per week). The primary focus of the role is contributing to the protection of native fauna through specialized ecological assessments. Day-to-day duties involve creating comprehensive expert reports compliant with species protection law, conducting extensive faunistic surveys, particularly avifaunistic mapping, and employing advanced field techniques such as detector recordings, netting, telemetry, and acoustic analysis of bat calls. You will also be responsible for population surveys, including the capture and relocation of reptiles, amphibians, and other species groups. A crucial component of the job is providing ecological support during construction projects and confidently presenting technical results to clients, regulatory authorities, and local municipal committees. Candidates should possess strong expertise in native fauna (especially birds), excellent communication skills, proficiency in GIS and Office software, and a Class B driving license. Experience
