Job Summary

This role is for a Process Engineer specializing in Viral Vectors at an internationally operating BioTech company in Berlin focused on biopharmaceutical development and manufacturing. The core responsibilities involve executing and overseeing GMP production activities, specifically aseptic filling processes and visual inspections of Drug Products, adhering strictly to EU GMP Annex 1. You will be instrumental in manufacturing sterile, viral pharmaceuticals for clinical studies using state-of-the-art equipment. A key component of the job is ensuring quality through the creation and updating of GMP-compliant documentation (SOPs) and continuously optimizing existing processes for improved efficiency and throughput. The ideal candidate holds a scientific degree in Biotechnology, Bioprocess Engineering, or Biochemistry, and is prepared to work with BSL-2 organisms (viruses). Experience in a GMP production environment, especially sterile filling, and knowledge of viral vectors are highly advantageous.
