Job Summary
This role involves driving the strategic and professional development of the Mobile Supportive Participation Service (MuT), which assists adults with psychological, intellectual, and/or physical disabilities living independently in Berlin and Brandenburg. The Area Development Officer will contribute significantly to strategic processes, ensuring the professional and economic growth of the organization. Key responsibilities include coordinating various internal projects, managing quality assurance systems, overseeing Occupational Reintegration Management (BEM), and advising leadership on specialized topics. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Social or Health Management, or a related field, and possesses multi-year professional experience working with individuals with disabilities. Strong project coordination, conceptualization, and communication skills are essential for successful engagement with stakeholders and authorities.
Required Skills
Education
Degree in Social Management, Health Management, or comparable field, or professional qualification as a Social Worker, Social Pedagogue, Remedial Pedagogue, or Curative Education Nurse
Experience
- Leadership experience preferred and willingness to acquire new competencies
- Multi-year professional experience working with individuals with psychological illnesses and intellectual disabilities
- Experience in creating and processing funding applications
