This role involves serving as the permanent deputy head for the Department of Regional Planning and Environmental Protection, specifically focusing on Regional Planning and Nature Conservation within the Building and Environment division. The Deputy Head will assume leadership and personnel responsibility for these two subject areas, ensuring the safety and health of employees, and managing organizational responsibilities. Key day-to-day tasks include strategic development and implementation of objectives, processing sections of the Regional Spatial Planning Program (RROP) for the Northeim district, making strategic decisions regarding RROP procedures, and advising political factions. Candidates must possess a relevant degree (preferably Master's) in fields like Spatial Planning, Geography, or Environmental Engineering, coupled with proven professional or leadership experience in regional planning and nature conservation.
