Job Summary

This System Engineer role focuses on Platform Development within the Mission Systems domain, supporting the design and production of high-end radar, optoelectronic, electronic warfare, and avionics products. The core responsibilities include deriving and conceptualizing robust system architectures, translating complex customer requirements into actionable technical concepts (Epics/User Stories), and performing system-wide error analysis and troubleshooting. A significant portion of the work involves infrastructure management, including the installation, configuration, and maintenance of physical and virtual Windows Server and Client landscapes. Automation is key, requiring the use of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), specifically PowerShell scripting, Desired State Configuration (DSC), and container technologies like Docker. Candidates must possess a completed scientific degree in Computer Science or a comparable field, professional experience in system and software development, and demonstrate fluent proficiency in both German and English.
