Job Summary

This specialized role involves performing precise surveying and measurement tasks essential for modern track construction and maintenance operations. Day-to-day responsibilities include executing track surveying, staking work, and clearance profile measurements required for new builds, reconstructions, and inventory documentation. You will be operating the latest and most innovative surveying technology from Trimble, Amberg, and Leica product families, along with their associated software, and collaborating closely with tamping machine operators and clients. The role requires meticulous data preparation and smooth handover to downstream trades. The ideal candidate possesses vocational training or prior knowledge in surveying, track construction, or tamping machine operation, and ideally has experience with GEDO CE and Amberg IMS measuring systems. Critical requirements include a willingness to work irregular hours (nights, weekends, holidays) and high mobility for deployment across Germany and neighboring European countries.
