Job Summary

This role involves managing and maintaining the core IT infrastructure for a leading European automotive logistics company, focusing heavily on Microsoft technologies. The System Administrator will be responsible for installing, configuring, and supporting IT systems, including Windows Servers, Active Directory, M365, and Azure, ensuring high levels of stability, security, and performance. Key day-to-day tasks include managing user accounts, group policies, access structures, and performing network and service monitoring to proactively identify and resolve disturbances. A strong focus is placed on IT security, requiring the implementation of security policies, regular patching, updates, and managing data backups to ensure compliance. The position also requires active participation in IT projects such as migrations, rollouts, virtualization initiatives, and cloud implementations, necessitating a proactive approach to continuous infrastructure improvement. Candidates should possess a vocational qualification in IT System Integration or equivalent, combined with fundamental knowledge of virtualization (VMware) and network technology.
