Job Summary

This role is for an IT Support Specialist to join the globally active and financially stable Curtiss-Wright Group, offering a high degree of autonomy and diverse tasks. You will be responsible for the comprehensive maintenance and development of the local IT infrastructure across various plants. Day-to-day tasks include setting up and configuring hardware such as PCs, laptops, mobile devices, and printers, as well as installing and maintaining standard and company-specific software and databases. A core component of the role involves troubleshooting technical issues, providing essential user support, managing access rights, and supporting server and overall IT infrastructure maintenance. The ideal candidate has successfully completed vocational training in the IT field, such as an IT Specialist for System Integration, and demonstrates a strong service orientation and self-starter mentality. Essential technical skills include foundational knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), experience with databases (T-SQL), and proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365 environments. Fluency in German, English, and French is a prerequisite.
