Job Summary

This role is ideal for a qualified Skilled Worker or Master Craftsman with experience in iron casting who is ready to take on a critical quality assurance support function. The Materials Testing Technician and Sample Handler will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of material samples, ensuring quality and traceability. Key daily tasks involve managing sample tracking, facilitating laboratory communication, preparing detailed microsections, and creating comprehensive material data sheets. The role also requires overseeing the specification, collection, transport, and monitoring of samples, alongside the essential management of measuring equipment. This permanent position acts as a staff function reporting directly to Quality Assurance Management, supporting a globally recognized manufacturer specializing in high-quality cast iron products.
