Job Summary

This role is for an IT Systems Technician passionate about virtualization, networks, and IT infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning, configuration, implementation, migration, development, and maintenance of the IT infrastructure, including servers, storage systems, and various networks. Key responsibilities also include administering VMware and HyperV environments, proactive monitoring and troubleshooting, managing hardware deployment, and ensuring IT security compliance. This position involves providing expert consultation and support to various organizational units and acting as a point of contact for the First Level Support team, resolving issues or escalating to specialized teams. The ideal candidate will have a MINT degree or equivalent, experience in IT support, and strong knowledge of scripting, PowerShell, and SQL, coupled with excellent German language skills.
