Job Summary

This role involves comprehensive responsibility within the municipal engineering department, focusing on the planning, supervision, and construction management of maintenance and new construction projects across road construction, civil engineering, and building construction. Key responsibilities include project steering, acting as the client representative (Bauherr), developing specifications (Leistungsverzeichnissen), and collaborating closely with external engineering firms, construction companies, utility providers, and public authorities. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Civil Engineering and possesses professional experience, especially in the specified construction fields. Success in this position requires strong negotiation skills, assertiveness, and thorough knowledge of German construction regulations (VOB, HOAI, DIN norms). This is a full-time, permanent position offering attractive public sector compensation (TVöD EG 12 or Beamtenverhältnis A 12 LBesG NRW) and the opportunity to actively shape the infrastructure of the Hanseatic City of Breckerfeld.
