Job Summary
This role is based in Lingen, Germany, and involves supporting the decommissioning and residual operations optimization team for RWE Nuclear. The successful candidate will manage control and electrical engineering projects related to plant shutdown, decommissioning, and optimization activities. Day-to-day tasks include developing concepts, advising project stakeholders, planning operational activities, and overseeing external partner firms. A key responsibility is drafting and reviewing tender documents, work instructions, and process guidelines. The role also requires engaging in technical discussions with authorities and experts, ensuring regulatory compliance, and managing relevant documentation. The position demands strong project management skills to monitor and adhere to cost, schedule, and quality standards, ensuring safe and efficient project execution in a nuclear environment.
Required Skills
Education
University degree (Diploma, Master, Bachelor, or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering/Automation Technology, or a comparable field; OR a successfully completed vocational training combined with certification as a State-Certified Technician in the aforementioned fields.
Experience
- Professional experience in electrical engineering/automation technology or a comparable field
- Relevant professional experience in the described tasks (project handling, documentation, compliance)
- Experience in managing partner firms/contractors
- Experience in a power plant environment and using the Power Plant Identification System (KKS) (Preferred)
- Knowledge of operational management systems (e.g., IBFS) (Preferred)
