Day-to-day tasks include managing the entire process flow for raw material treatment, determining which waste materials require recycling versus disposal, and meticulously monitoring the machinery and facilities used for sorting, separation, or incineration. A key component of the job is environmental protection, requiring the inspection of disposal sites, analysis of seepage water (leachate), and conducting precise measurements to ensure no pollutants enter the environment.
