Job Summary
This role involves coordinating the operational IT business and driving digitalization efforts within the Viöl municipal administration, aiming to make public services efficient and future-proof. Key responsibilities include liaising with external IT service providers, maintaining detailed overviews of IT projects, licenses, and systems, and providing strategic consultation on IT strategy and the development of specialized administrative procedures. The Coordinator will be instrumental in implementing the Online Access Act and collaborating with data protection officers on compliance measures. The position requires a strong technical background, demonstrated experience in managing digitalization projects, and proficiency with Document Management Systems (DMS). The ideal candidate must possess excellent organizational skills, the ability to conduct economic efficiency analyses for IT projects, and strong communication skills to facilitate change management and explain complex technical content to non-IT colleagues.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist (System Integration or Data and Process Analysis), or Commercial Clerk (Digitalization or IT System Management); OR a degree in Informatics or a comparable IT-focused field of study.
Experience
- Professional experience in designing and implementing digitalization projects
- Professional experience managing Document Management Systems (DMS)
- Professional experience introducing and managing digital mail/inbox systems
- Multi-year professional experience in IT coordination or related fields (if formal education is absent)
