Job Summary

This permanent, full-time role as a PLC Programmer in Cologne is centered on developing and documenting robust software solutions for specialized customer machine tools. The daily responsibilities include checking engineering concepts for feasibility, selecting appropriate control hardware, and performing detailed planning and execution of functional tests and error analyses. A critical component of the job is the continuous evaluation and integration of new technologies into the existing control architecture. Candidates must hold a degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable qualification and bring solid professional experience in programming automation systems, specifically PLC and NC, ideally with Sinumerik ONE. Proficiency with TIA Portal (SCL) is essential, complemented by a structured, team-oriented work style and strong communication skills in both German and English.
