Job Summary
This permanent, full-time position as an Occupational Safety Specialist at the Essen Police Headquarters involves ensuring the safety and well-being of approximately 2,200 employees. Day-to-day responsibilities include advising the leadership team and responsible personnel on accident prevention and occupational health standards, conducting safety inspections of operating facilities, technical equipment, and work processes, and actively implementing safety and accident prevention measures. A key part of the role is instructing employees and supporting management in developing thorough risk assessments. Candidates must possess either a Bachelor's degree in Safety Engineering or a technical qualification combined with certification as an Occupational Safety Specialist and at least three years of professional experience in the field.
