Job Summary

This role seeks a motivated and reliable Chemical Laboratory Technician to join an innovative food industry company in Darmstadt. The core responsibilities involve the independent execution of analytical investigations on food products, utilizing various advanced analytical techniques including Gas Chromatography (GC), Ion Chromatography (IC), High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), and traditional wet chemistry methods. The technician is responsible for thorough sample preparation, comprehensive evaluation of analysis results, and meticulous documentation. Key duties also include preparing and supplying analytical data to internal departments, actively supporting the implementation of new analytical methods, and drafting formal analysis protocols. The ideal candidate must possess completed vocational training as a Chemical Laboratory Technician (Chemielaborant) or Chemical Technical Assistant (CTA), and ideally bring professional experience from the food industry. Strong proficiency in German is mandatory, alongside good working knowledge of MS Office and laboratory management systems.
