Development Electrical Engineer | Elektroingenieur Entwicklung (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role involves supporting a small team (approx. 5 members) in the development of a new, high-performance control cabinet series, specifically handling currents exceeding 1600A. The Electrical Engineer will define electrical components, particularly power electronics like power controllers and thyristors, and ensure the control cabinet design adheres to standards such as EN60204-1 and EN61439. Key responsibilities also include shaping the manufacturing and testing processes for these control cabinets and managing electrical products throughout their lifecycle, including optimization and change projects. The ideal candidate possesses a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical qualification, experience in control cabinet construction, and proficiency in schematic creation tools like EPLAN P8/Pro Panel and PLC programming (preferably TIA-Portal). This position offers the potential to lead development projects after an initial training period.
