Job Summary

This role seeks an expert Data Platform Engineer to design, develop, and operate a cutting-edge data platform essential for powering both AI and Business Intelligence applications across Siltronic’s global operations. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing the full data lifecycle—from initial concept and prototyping through to deployment, optimization, and monitoring in production environments. A core focus will be architecting robust data pipelines, ensuring seamless integration, and establishing rigorous best practices for system and software development, including CI/CD, automation, and data quality assurance. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Computer Science or a related field and possesses excellent knowledge of data architectures, Data Engineering principles, and database management, particularly within Oracle environments. Success requires strong hands-on experience with tools like Python, major Cloud platforms (Azure/OCI), DevOps practices (GitLab), Docker, and orchestration tools (Dagster/Airflow).
