Job Summary

This role seeks a dedicated Materials Testing Specialist to join Siemens Energy in Mülheim an der Ruhr on a permanent, full-time basis (35 hours per week). The core responsibilities involve performing mechanical materials testing within the laboratory environment, specifically focusing on conducting cyclic fatigue tests (LCF). A crucial part of the job includes meticulous documentation and thorough evaluation of all experimental results. Candidates must possess a completed qualification as a Materials Tester, ideally complemented by a Technician degree or a university degree in Materials Engineering. Practical experience in operating servo-hydraulic testing machines is required, and prior experience with destructive testing methods for metallic materials is highly desirable. This position offers long-term stability with the possibility of permanent takeover by the client, along with attractive compensation starting at €23.00 per hour.
