Job Summary

This role involves acting as the central point of contact for digital inquiries, ensuring reliable and solution-oriented IT support for employees within the Rheingau-Taunus district administration. The successful candidate will be responsible for 1st-Level IT support, including receiving, prioritizing, and processing support tickets, and addressing hardware and software issues. Key tasks also include the installation, configuration, and maintenance of workstations, endpoints, and standard software. The position requires active participation in documenting IT processes, creating user guides for the knowledge database, and supporting the continuous improvement of IT service processes and exciting IT projects. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training in an IT profession (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration, Management Assistant for Digitalization Management, Management Assistant for IT System Management) OR a completed vocational training with documented professional experience.

Experience

  • At least three years of professional experience in the specified area of responsibility, proven by employment references (if not possessing a specific IT vocational qualification)
  • Professional experience in Service Desk operations (desired)
