Job Summary

This full-time, permanent position as a Testing Technician, based in Erlangen, focuses on comprehensive system integration and quality assurance for coupling technology products. Day-to-day responsibilities include executing all required tests according to specified instructions and relevant standards, and proactively identifying technical correlations to troubleshoot problems and find quick solutions. The role involves system integration across electrical, mechanical, software, and measurement technologies, including the installation and configuration of customer-specific software. Furthermore, the technician will provide technical support during customer acceptance tests, manage logistics like creating packing lists for shipping, and assist with on-site commissioning and repairs as needed. Candidates must possess a completed apprenticeship as an Electrician/Electronics Technician followed by advanced training as a Technician (specializing in energy, communications, or data processing technology) or an equivalent qualification, coupled with basic knowledge of PLC systems.
