Job Summary

This position is for an experienced Electrical Engineer specializing in measurement and control technology within the industrial automation sector. The core responsibility involves the independent project planning of automation systems, encompassing the selection and configuration of hardware components, and the creation of application-specific control software. Day-to-day tasks include defining and adhering to programming standards, developing standardized automation concepts for measuring devices, and ensuring the timely delivery of programs for controls, drives, and visualizations. The role requires collaboration with technical departments for product testing and involves training project engineers and field staff. A crucial component is the independent execution and support of commissioning activities both domestically and internationally. Candidates must possess a degree in Electrical Engineering and demonstrate routine proficiency with automation and drive technology tools, such as Siemens STEP 7 classic and TIA Portal, ideally coupled with multi-year experience in the cold rolling industry.
