This role is for a highly motivated Field Service Technician specializing in machinery and plant engineering, working for a renowned client in the metal industry. The primary responsibilities involve the independent commissioning and performance testing of complex machines and systems directly at customer sites worldwide. Key daily tasks include troubleshooting functional faults, executing necessary adjustment work for process optimization, and conducting comprehensive training for both customers and operators. Candidates must possess a completed technical education, such as an Engineer or Technician qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, combined with a minimum of five years of relevant professional experience. Critical technical expertise includes strong knowledge of PLC programming, specifically Siemens S7, and experience in process engineering. The position requires excellent proficiency in English, both written and spoken, and a mandatory readiness for extensive international travel.
