Job Summary
This role involves leading and organizing an entire food service facility, focusing on providing fresh and diverse meals daily to schools, kindergartens, seniors, and guests. The Head of Facility Management will oversee all operational areas, including the kitchen, administration, food distribution, and delivery service. Key responsibilities include ensuring culinary excellence, managing efficient inventory control in cooperation with the kitchen management, and holding commercial accountability for cost control and budgeting. The successful candidate will be responsible for team leadership, motivation, and personnel recruitment, while also developing new offerings like school/kindergarten catering and meal delivery services. Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Hotel Management/Catering or comparable qualification, or a professional qualification in the large-scale kitchen/catering industry. Additional qualifications in HACCP/Food Safety, Hygiene Certificates, and Cost and Quality Management are required.
Experience
- Professional experience in a leadership role
- Experience in community catering or gastronomy is ideal
- Professional experience in large-scale kitchen/catering industry (if no academic degree)
