Job Summary

This role involves working as a Materials Tester specializing in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), specifically focusing on X-ray inspections within the defense industry in Unterlüß. Day-to-day responsibilities include the planning, coordination, and execution of X-ray testing, which requires setting up appropriate test configurations and safely handling explosive or hazardous components. The professional will be responsible for organizing and processing test orders, analyzing and evaluating image data, and generating detailed test reports. A key part of the job is ensuring the operational readiness of X-ray equipment through maintenance and preventative upkeep. Candidates must possess RT-F and RT-D Level 2 certifications according to EN ISO 9712, coupled with a background as an Electrical Energy Technician or equivalent, and strong analytical and technical skills.
