Job Summary

This position calls for a dedicated IT Support Specialist to join a dynamic engineering and IT firm, focusing on delivering essential 1st and 2nd Level support. Day-to-day responsibilities include the independent provision of First-Level support, handling administrative tasks to maintain IT operations, and processing user inquiries and technical faults efficiently using an established ticketing system. The specialist will ensure smooth operations across various system environments, performing error analysis, resolution, and documentation according to defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Communication with internal and external users via phone, email, and the ticketing system is crucial. Candidates must have successfully completed vocational training in IT, such as System Integration or System Electronics, and possess foundational knowledge of operating systems, Office applications, and mobile devices. This role offers an unlimited contract and professional development, but requires flexibility for potential late and night shifts from Monday to Saturday, alongside excellent German and good English skills for technical communication.

Required Skills

Education

Successfully completed vocational training in IT Specialist for System Integration, System Electronics, Technical Assistant for Informatics, or a comparable qualification

Experience

  • Initial practical experience in IT support
  • Initial practical experience handling ticketing systems (desirable)
  • Experience in telephone customer service (beneficial)
