Job Summary

This position calls for a strategic Control and Safety Technology Asset Management Engineer responsible for driving the renewal and maintenance of critical railway infrastructure. Day-to-day tasks involve initiating complex projects across signaling, railway crossing, communications, and electrical systems. A key focus is the development of strategic concepts for modernizing interlocking and radio technologies, including the crucial introduction of the European Train Control System (ETCS) and overhead line expansion. The engineer must ensure all measures comply with strict legal KRITIS (Critical Infrastructure) requirements and coordinate necessary approval procedures with regulatory authorities. The ideal candidate holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, preferably with a specialization in Control and Safety Technology, and possesses practical experience in the planning, construction, or maintenance of these specialized assets.
