Job Summary

This role involves connecting technology and client needs by serving as a Technical Cost Estimator specializing in Electrical Engineering within the electro- and automation technology sectors. Day-to-day responsibilities include the detailed analysis of customer requirements and the formulation of comprehensive technical solutions used in proposals. A core function is the precise calculation and documentation of project costs, requiring close coordination with the sales department. The successful candidate will actively manage the procurement process by obtaining and negotiating services with subcontractors and suppliers. Key tasks also include participating in contract award discussions, conducting contract reviews, and ensuring a smooth handover of projects to the project management team. Furthermore, you will contribute to the continuous development and improvement of the internal calculation system. Candidates should possess technical training, ideally at the Master or Technician level in Electrical Engineering, coupled with initial experience in project planning and cost estimation, and a strong commercial understanding.
