Job Summary

This role involves working on the cutting edge of hardware development for complex vehicle systems, focusing heavily on rigorous testing and verification processes. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing intricate technical relationships, designing, planning, and integrating specialized test environments for electronic control units (ECUs). You will be responsible for creating test software using scripting and high-level languages, and executing functional testing, often utilizing tools like DOORS. A critical component of the job is ensuring compliance with functional safety standards, specifically working with test concepts aligned with the V-Model, ISO 26262, and IEC 61508. Furthermore, you will manage external subcontractors and engineering service providers for specific subprojects. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical or Communications Engineering and possesses several years of experience in hardware development or verification, coupled with strong project management skills.
