Project Developer (Wind Farm) | Projektentwickler (m/w/d) Windpark

Job Summary

This role requires taking overall responsibility for the full development lifecycle of wind farm projects. Key daily tasks include securing land, commissioning necessary environmental and technical studies, analyzing optimal site layouts, selecting appropriate Wind Energy Converters (WEA), and managing the complex permitting application and follow-up processes. The developer is responsible for robust stakeholder management, interacting frequently with landowners, service providers, authorities, and municipalities. Furthermore, the role involves preparing detailed reports for management, monitoring project progress regarding time, budget, and quality, and actively managing project risks. Candidates must possess a university degree in Engineering, Geography, or Economics, coupled with several years of professional experience in project development, preferably within the wind or photovoltaic (PV) industry, with a strong focus on permitting planning. Experience utilizing Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is also a crucial requirement.
