Job Summary
This role involves developing and optimizing multi-layer PCB layouts for sophisticated electronic systems. The designer will be responsible for drafting and advancing circuit diagrams and microcontroller-based assemblies, ensuring functionality and quality through simulations, calculations, and testing using tools like SPICE, MATLAB, or LabView. A key focus is on developing EMC-compliant circuits, power electronics, and driver circuits, alongside designing and implementing FPGA solutions using VHDL (e.g., Xilinx, Lattice, Altera). Day-to-day tasks include creating and maintaining technical specifications, defining requirements, verifying designs via functional tests on target hardware, and developing test equipment. The ideal candidate possesses a degree or training in Electrical Engineering or Electronics, practical experience in hardware development and PCB design, and proficiency with ECAD tools such as Altium Designer, Eagle, or KiCad, coupled with knowledge of embedded systems and measurement technology.
