Job Summary

This Component Manager role is integral to the procurement and management of electronic components within Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for negotiating critical prices and conditions, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the stability of the supply chain by identifying alternatives during bottlenecks. Day-to-day activities include supporting quotation calculations, verifying the completeness of technical documentation, and maintaining accurate material calculation data. A key technical responsibility involves creating and updating master data within PLM and ERP systems, specifically Baan. This position requires a strong technical foundation, ideally a degree in Electrical Engineering, Production Technology, or a related field, coupled with extensive knowledge of the electronic components procurement market. Collaboration is essential, requiring close coordination with Purchasing, Engineering, Sales, and Quality teams.
