Job Summary

This permanent position involves specialized design and development of complex cable assemblies primarily for the aerospace and space industry. The core responsibilities include creating detailed cable drawings using 2D-ECAD tools and managing the entire lifecycle of cable components, from initial feasibility analysis and quoting to final delivery. The engineer will be responsible for defining work packages, estimating effort, and preparing manufacturing documentation such as Wiring Diagrams, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and Routing Cards. A crucial aspect of the role is serving as the technical liaison for customers, managing change requests, and assessing their impact on project costs and timelines. Candidates must possess a degree or technician qualification in Electrical Engineering and demonstrated experience in the construction and design of system cabling.
