Job Summary

This role involves serving as a Development Engineer focused on creating hardware for advanced optical position sensors utilized in digitized automation technology. The successful candidate will manage the entire product development lifecycle, spanning from initial prototype design and evaluation through to serial sample development and final transfer to mass production. Key daily tasks include designing robust hardware architectures, supporting specification creation, simulating designs, generating detailed schematics, and commissioning printed circuit boards (PCBs). You will also ensure the hardware's usability in adjacent disciplines, such as generating scripts for raw data acquisition. Candidates must possess a degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable qualification, coupled with expertise in designing embedded systems featuring analog circuits and microcontroller integration. Experience with tool-supported hardware design (e.g., LTspice, CR8000) and basic knowledge of conformity standards like EMC are essential. This position requires a high degree of innovation, curiosity, and the ability to work independently while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams (Software, Mechanics, Production) to ensure design quality.
