Job Summary

This permanent position focuses on the robust operation, maintenance, and performance optimization of the core Atlassian platform, including Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Crowd, and Jira Service Management Cloud. The engineer will be responsible for critical infrastructure tasks such as planning and executing system upgrades, patches, and extensions, alongside integrating the Atlassian suite into complex existing system landscapes (e.g., SAP, Jama Connect). Day-to-day duties involve detailed configuration of authorizations, project schemes, workflows, and process automation, as well as evaluating and managing Marketplace apps like ScriptRunner and BigPicture. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Informatics or a comparable field and possesses several years of experience in administering Atlassian tools in both on-premises and cloud environments. Strong technical expertise in Linux server management, scripting (Groovy, Bash, Python), and web technologies, coupled with fluent German and English skills, are essential for providing technical support and training to key users.
