Job Summary

This role involves taking responsibility for the conception, further development, and documentation of cable assemblies, specifically within the demanding field of aerospace and space systems. The Cable Design Engineer will utilize 3D-CAD routing, particularly using SolidWorks, to create detailed designs. Key daily tasks include organizing and monitoring the entire process chain, from initial construction and manufacturing through quality inspection and final delivery. The engineer will also be responsible for preparing technical documentation, including drawings, bills of materials, and production documents for cable assemblies and auxiliary devices. Success requires a degree or technical qualification in relevant engineering fields (e.g., Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace) coupled with practical experience in designing electrical wiring systems.
