Job Summary

This role is ideal for a proactive Materials Scientist who thrives in an analytical laboratory environment focused on characterizing cellulose membranes. Day-to-day responsibilities involve executing advanced analytical measurement methods, specifically utilizing Laser-Scanning Microscopy and spectroscopic techniques (Raman & IR). A critical component of the role is meticulous data acquisition, evaluation, and documentation, ensuring GxP compliance through electronic lab notebooks (eLN) and rigorous review processes, including checking raw data and experimental checklists. The successful candidate will hold a Master's degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, or a related field, and possess experience (even university-level) with the required microscopic and spectroscopic techniques. Excellent communication skills and good-to-very good English proficiency are necessary for presenting findings, discussing results in project meetings, and collaborating effectively with various internal stakeholders. This position offers the opportunity for independent work on challenging tasks within a large corporate network.

Education

Master's degree in Materials Science, Polymer Science, Chemistry, or equivalent field

Experience

  • Experience in microscopic techniques (e.g., Laser-Scanning Microscopy)

  • Experience in reviewing and verifying experimental data and raw results
