Job Summary

This System Engineer position, located within the Municipal Pension Fund Westfalen-Lippe (kvw), is central to Application and Interface Management. The role involves the administration and operation of specialized insurance industry software and critical middleware, alongside the configuration and support of diverse server systems, including Windows, Linux, and container environments. A significant part of the daily work focuses on process management, interface development, and automation programming using scripting tools like PowerShell, Python, and Perl. Candidates must possess a completed university degree (Bachelor or Diploma) in Computer Science or a related field, or demonstrate comparable long-term professional experience following relevant vocational training. Essential technical qualifications include strong knowledge of SQL, XML/JSON, database administration (preferably Oracle/PostgreSQL), and practical experience with IT Service Management (ITIL) processes.
